The Wicker Man, filmed by Lion Productions in 1972/1973, remains one of the strangest works of neo-pagan imagery ever filmed. It has a number of websites set up by people who have made it their interest to investigate both the nature of the film and the hiostory of its inception, production and release. A complete list would not be possible, but here are some of the more interesting sites found on a search of the Internet.
Nuada - The Wicker Man website and magazine of Gail Ashurst. A well-established resource and possibly the best ongoing site.
The Various Versions of The Wicker Man Steven Phillips's remarkable summary of the film and its locations, established1995 and still running. Keep it up, Steve.
The Edward Woodward Website : Fan site by Pamela and Kevin on the career of this distinguished actor. Moving servers, so to be amended soon.
Scotland The Movie : Dumfries and Galloway : A good summary, but misses some of the locations. Otherwise excellent for the visitor.
