About Us ...

The Plumed Horse Restaurant is a new business venture for partners Chef Tony Borthwick and Manager Charles Kirkbride. Located in a rural setting at Crossmichael, the Plumed Horse combines an excellent rural setting with fine cuisine. The Restaurant opened on the 7^th July 1998 and has been pleasing its clients ever since.

The Plumed Horse is quality throughout, from the gastronomical delights of the food itself to the white linen table covers. The silver and crystal are of the highest quality and the tableware is by Villeroy & Boch. The Restaurant can accommodate thirty people on its two floors. Local produce is used in many of the meals, whilst there is always a choice for vegetarians. Parking is adjacent to the restaurant.
