At Your Service ...The Pheasant Hotel is a recently upgraded family run Inn with restaurant in the heart of Dalbeattie - an attractive granite town near the Solway Coast. The Pheasant has built up a reputation for its value for money meals and friendly service. The popular public bar serves a wide variety of beers including real ale and has a giant video screen, ideal for sporting events, also darts, pool and jukebox. Other attractions are a weekly quiz.The Pheasant Restaurant...The Pheasant Restaurant is situated on the first floor of the hotel. Being in a central location, it is very popular as a meeting place for morning coffee. From midday until 3:00 p.m. the restaurant offers a full a la carte menu and specials. A very good £ 3.00 Pensioners' Menu is offered and has proven most popular. The à la carte menue offers a variety of value for money alternatives with a strong emphasis on traditional local fare. Children are catered for with a special menu and and Vegetarians are well catered for with special vegetarian choices. The Public Bar ...The ground floor public bar is very popular with the locals. Being Dalbeattie's only true free house, the bar offers various brews: Tennant's Lager, Younger's Tartan and Guinness are always offered. As we were the first pub in Dalbeattie to offer Real Ale this remains the publican's pride and joy. Pub games are a common occurence in the Pheasant's lively bar with three dart boards, a pool table, chess/draughts and dominoes. The pub having a resident darts team and a pool team both of which are active in the local leagues. Accommodation for Guests ...With up to eight bedrooms available, the hotel can offer accommodation for up to 21 people. The Family Room can accommodate 3 children and 2 adults. All rooms are en-suite with above average size bathroom, with bath and shower in most rooms. All rooms have a colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel can also provide an iron/ironing board, hairdryer, alarm clock, shoe cleaning utensils and a portable cot. Storage for bikes, sports wear etc. can also be arranged with prior notice in a secure cellar/boiler house. |
