Welcome to the Mariner ...The Mariner Hotel is the perfect place to stay to enjoy the history, nature, activities and beautiful scenery around Kippford, the Colvend Coast and the Urr Estuary. Besides our good selection of beers and wines, we offer excellent bar and restaurant food, and a coffee shop. We also offer bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation. Most of our custom is 'repeat custom' and the result of guest recommendations. The Mariner offers you the opportunity to enjoy a one-night stay, a short break or a family holiday, in the heart of this unspoiled corner of the country. The area is of increasing interest to cyclists - the Dalbeattie Forest Seven Stanes route attracts international visitors. The Solway Yacht Club's Regatta is held within view of the Mariner; their clubhouse, pier and moorings, are adjacent to the Mariner. |
