Breakfasts are superb with Orange Juice, Grapefruit and choice of six Cereals, followed by Bacon, Sausage, Egg (Free-Range Hen or Duck), Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Fried Bread and Pancakes, Toast, Home-Made Gooseberry or Bramble Jelly, Marmalade and local Honey, with Tea, Coffee or Hot Chocolate. You can eat as much or as as a little as you like.
We do an Evening Meal if you would like, our own home-grown Belted Galloway Beef features in a lot of our menus, as does local game of Pheasant and Venison, however, we do cater for vegetarians as well, our most popular dish being Cheese and Rocket Tart with Parmesan Pastry.
Everything is cooked in the Aga, and tasty home-baking is available with Teas and Coffees throughout the day. Alternatively, there are several places to eat nearby.
