Jas. P. Wilson are recognised suppliers of these forestry tractors and their spares. The Valmet forestry tractor is an excellent machine for forestry operations and comes in a range of power-ratings. A similar machine and its parts are separately marketed by Valmet as an agricultural vehicle.
The Valmet tractor is considered by Jas. P. Wilsons to the outstanding example of its kind. The Valmet 80 h.p. 4WD fully-guarded forestry tractor can be supplied fully-guarded for rigorous operating conditions. Alternatively, the range includes the Mezzo range with luxury cabs and 79-170 h.p. capacity; that series retains its full agricultural specification although guarded as a forestry tractor. A new 55 Basic 55 series, with 61-80 h.p. capacity, is also available for multipurpose use.
