Jas. P. Wilson are the U.K. agents for the Finnish firm of Terästakomo, who have been manufacturing agricultural machinery for over 40 years. The Palax 600 Combi is an excellent machine for converting small timber into firewood by sawing and splitting the logs. Jas. P. Wilson sell the various units in the Palax 600 Combi range with the TSV variable splitting speed facility as a standard feature.

Recommended pump capacity 40 litres/minute.
Open hydraulic circuit valve in all models.
Optional spigot connection for closed circuit systems (e.g. John Deere).

Shaft size should be Bondioli A103, Walterscheid W2100 or similar.

Recommended hydraulic oil for normal use : UNIVIS 32 or similar.

CONVEYOR

The Mobil model always uses the 3.5 Metre conveyor.
Two-wire suspension.
Optional winch for easy handling.

CIRCULAR SAW

Blade :

Diameter 700 mm., speed ca. 1500 rpm when the shaft turns at 540 rpm.
A hard metal blade is available as an optional extra.
Maximum log diameter (single sawing operation) : 25 cm.
Maximum log diameter (by turning the log) : 30 cm.
Stick length : 25 - 60 cm.

CHOPPER

Splitting Tool :

The standard 2/4 tool chops the log into 2 or 4 sticks.
An optional 2/6 tool allows chopping into 2, 4 or 6 sticks.
