Upper Nithsdale Community Initiative

Bill McDonald, Manager of the Upper Nithsdale Community Initiative, has recently established Scotland's biggest Internet Cafe at the UNCI offices in Sanquhar

A grant from Groundbase and assistance from local computer company R. Frazier Ltd. has helped to establish the cafe. Bill now has 16 computer workstations on line, and has been overwhelmed by the demand from businesses and the local community.
