Kirroughtree Visitor Centre

A Visitor Attraction Enhancement Programme project

Kirroughtreee Visitor Centre is managed and run by Forestry Enterprise. It is situated in the Galloway Forest Park, which covers over 300 square miles of forest, moorland and lochs. The area offers a wealth of holiday activities for the 'great outdoors'.

Kirroughtree is already an important tourist attraction; the grant of £ 8,000 from Groundbase assisted with the provision of a new childrens' play area.
