D.G. Lockharts

A Micro Enterprise Growth Assistance Business Information Technology Enhancement project.

D.G. Lockharts is a well-established business based in Dalbeattie which offers an upholstery service as well as being Funeral Directors. The company introduced a a new computerised administration system in June 1998 with the aid of a grant under MEGA-BITE. The benefits have already been demonstrated, as business accounts, customer data-base and invoicing have all been computerised.

The company can now produce and print their own Order of Service, which actually reduces the overall costs of a funeral.
