Dumfries and Galloway Region is gifted with well over thirty golf courses of varying kinds. All the courses have different settings; some are links courses, others on hill slopes inland, with a choice of 9 or 18 holes and a variety of challenges. The golfing pilgrim staying in Dumfries and Galloway is barely seventy miles from the Ayrshire coast, with the famous links at Troon, Ayr and Turnberry.

This list has been provided as a courtesy to the visitor and as an advantage for the courses. Suggestions for illustrations, improvements and reviews will be gratefully received.
