Boarding Conditions

The following conditions are essential if you are to board your pet at Damhead.

Contacting Damhead &

>> Your Dog and/or Cat must have a current vaccination certificate which we will retain during the period of boarding.

Dogs' certificates must include the Infectious Bronchitis vaccine (INTRAC) and be clearly indicated on the certificate. This vaccination should be given to your dog ideally 10 - 14 days prior to boarding. If you are not sure if your dog is vaccinated for Infectious Bronchitis please consult your VET.

>> It is important that your dog or cat is wormed frequently, as this is a health hazard to us on handling.
Worming should be carried out at least 7 days prior to boarding.

>> Unfortunately, illness can strike at any time. Our emergency boarding vet or your own vet will be contacted if we have any cause for concern. Your own vet may be contacted for information should this be felt necessary.

>> We require that any expenses involved be reimbursed upon collection of your pet, unless covered by our insurance.

>> All pets should be collected between 10 a.m. and 12 noon or 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. . It should be noted that the latter times will incur a further day's fees.
Payment is either at the start of boarding or on collection of your pet. Any additional payments caused by vet's fees or delays in collection must be settled at the time of collection.

>> Pets cannot be collected before 10 a.m. or after the kennels and cattery have been closed and settled down for the night.

>> In the interests of hygiene we cannot accept dog or cat blankets, beds or bedding, as we provide plastic beds and vet bedding.
