Sayce, Mrs. : Foreman in Blending and Packing. Notified by Janet Douglas, for whom Mrs. Sayce was bridesmaid in 1942.

Schofield, Mr. : Shift chemist. Notified by Elizabeth Robertson.

Shanklin sisters : Two sisters working in Edingham (Unit 2) in Packing and Blending. Travelled in from Kirkconnell. Notified by Janet Douglas.

Shaw, Flora : Cordite Blender in Edingham (Unit 2). Notified by Elizabeth Robertson.

Smart, Annie (married : Watson) : Worker who unpacked cases with brass hammer and chisel. Possibly a packer in the Black Powder finishing works. Notified by son Allan Watson.

Smith, Anna : Worker in Unit 2 Edingham Paste Rolling House. Hand badly injured by being caught in the process machinery had to be amputated. Known to Elizabeth Robertson (McIntyre) and by Willie Smith. Awarded a war disability pension in 1995. Died 1998.

Smith, Mrs. : 'P.W.' in Edingham (Unit 2). Notified by Elizabeth Robertson. Maybe same as Elizabeth Smith notified by daughter May Alexander Maxwell.

Smith, Elizabeth Home Alexander : Worked in MS Factory Girvan, then at MS Factory Dalbeattie. Picture of her with eight others in soft hat, press house overalls and top with ICI logo in photographs. Picture here is an offduty shot in Girvan from about 1940-1941. Stayed between Twynholm and Castle Douglas. Notified by daughter May Alexander Maxwell and son Alistair. Recalled being blown out of bed at Mid-Boreland when Tongland was bombed and son has a bomb case fragment
